I’m an optimist. I’m not blind.
I'm an optimist. And I'm scared too!
The world is crazy right now.
Unfair. Scary.
At moments, it feels like we’re standing on the edge of something we might not fully recover from.
And the hardest part? We don’t get to choose what’s happening.
A small group of people at the top make decisions…
and the rest of us are here trying to live our lives inside of them.
Trying to stay safe.
Trying to protect our families.
Sometimes even hoping that if we shrink enough… no one will notice us.
Or that if we don’t think about it too much… it might just go away.
But we know that’s not how it works.
History is cyclical.
And we’re in it.
Hard times create strong, resourceful people.
People who learn to adapt, to rebuild, to lead.
Those people create better times.
More stability. More comfort.
And over time… that comfort makes us a little less resourceful.
Until slowly, we find ourselves back in hard times again.
And here we are.
So the real question is—Who do you want to be during times like these?
Not when things are easy.
Now.
I’ve been noticing something in myself.
When I get pulled into fear, I disconnect. I’m not really here.
And the moment I come back—even just for a second—I can feel the difference.
I’m no longer reacting.
I’m choosing.
And that choice shapes everything that follows.
And maybe that’s where our power is.
Not in controlling the world…
but in not losing ourselves inside of it.
So the question is—Who are you going to be right now?
Because this is one of those moments that will shape what comes next.
History is built on people who, in times like these, chose to stay present, to stay grounded, to do what was right in front of them.
Not perfectly, but consciously—
with love, with hope, with enthusiasm.
If we want better times ahead, this is where they begin.
With you.
With me.
Now.
Love,
